Hampton North have been retained by a rapidly growing organization to hire for a Head of InfoSec to lead its cybersecurity, risk management, and incident response efforts. This role sits within the broader IT leadership team and is responsible for shaping strategy, driving program maturity, and leading a high-performing security function.
You’ll oversee a team of engineers, analysts, and managers, and work cross-functionally to ensure the organization’s security posture evolves alongside business and technology goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations across security, risk, and incident response.
- Evaluate program maturity, identify gaps, and implement improvements.
- Manage crisis response and disaster recovery planning.
- Drive company-wide security awareness and training initiatives.
- Own and evolve security policies and standards.
- Oversee internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders on enterprise risk.
- Hire, develop, and lead a multi-disciplinary security team.
- Manage security budgets and resource planning.
What We're Looking For
- 10 years in information security
- 5 years in leadership roles, including managing leaders.
- Strong familiarity with frameworks like NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and others.
- Proven track record delivering strategic security improvements.
- Clear communicator with experience engaging senior leadership.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.) strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Salary : $180,000 - $250,000
