Hotel is seeking an Experienced Front Desk Agent, Full Time, who is highly motivated and exudes passion for the hospitality industry with Hilton experience. Must be available 7am - 3pm and 3pm - 11pm if you are not available during work these shifts – please do not apply.
Our Front Desk Agent are responsible for assisting our guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally in all Front Desk related functions. OUR EXPECTATIONS:
- Provide the highest quality of service to the guest at all times
- Greet and register guests and provide room assignments accommodating special requests whenever possible
- Have working knowledge of reservations and procedures, take reservations, and know cancellation procedures
- Day ending reports
- Handle guest check-ins and checkouts efficiently and in a friendly and professional manner
- Ensure that all cash, check and miscellaneous departments are in balance at the end of each shift. Utilize proper cash handling procedures in accordance to company policies.
- Keep housekeeping informed of any special requests, late checkouts and special need areas in the hotel
- Receive and transmit mail, phone and written messages for guests
- Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, shopping, dining entertainment and travel directions
- Post room charges, food & beverage, and be able to compute & explain guest bills
- Keep the Front Desk are neat, clean, organized and free of safety hazards
- Be aware & knowledgeable of Brand Loyalty programs and their benefits
- Utilize proper phone etiquette
- Other duties assigned by the supervisor
REQUIREMENTS:
- Flexible availability – able to work weekdays, weekends and holidays
- Guest Service driven
- Decision making and problem-solving skills
- Previous Hilton front desk experience preferred
- Requires high school math level.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to effectively communicate with the public and other employees.
- Excellent Guest/Customer Service Skills: Must go above and beyond for guests.
- Must be proficient with computers.
- Must have excellent organizational skills.
- Hilton front desk experience a plus.
Must be dependable.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
