HAMPTON EDUCATION SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS POSTING CLASS IV – HEALTH OFFICE ASSISTANT
POSITION: Class IV – Health Office Assistant (4 Hours Per-Day/10-Month Position) BUILDING: Based at Hampton Middle School
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma required, Associates Degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, typing, electronic databases, and online tools.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Acts as a liaison between immediate supervisor and others.
2. Provides assistance to students and faculty on an as-needed basis.
3. Develops and maintains a positive rapport with students and staff.
4. Communicates effectively with students, staff, administrators, parents, and school visitors.
5. Maintains confidentiality both in and outside the school setting.
6. Creates and maintains an organized, accessible filing system including registrations, records, etc.
7. Obtains, gathers, and organizes pertinent data for state reporting.
8. Inventories, organizes and processes new materials as directed.
9. Processes and disseminates correspondence.
10. Follows oral and written instructions, functions independently, and organizes work schedules.
11. Participates in professional development workshops and in-service activities, as directed.
12. Duties appropriate to the position may be added by the Superintendent or designee.
SALARY: In accordance with the terms of the current negotiated agreement between the Hampton Education Support Professionals Association and the Hampton Township School District.

Act 34 - Pennsylvania Criminal History Record Check as amended by Act 24 of 2011, Act 151 - Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Record Check, Act 114 - Federal Criminal History Record Check (fingerprint check), Mandated Reporter Training (Act 126), and, the Act 168 Disclosure Release (Pre- employment Sexual Abuse/Misconduct Disclosure).
