What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen & Bath Designer position at Hamshaw Lumber?
Hamshaw Lumber is a locally owned and operated business providing quality materials with personalized service. We are searching for a kitchen and bath designer, with exceptional attention to detail, customer service and muti-tasking skills. This candidate will be responsible for guiding clients and assisting them with their kitchen and bath design visions and demonstrating initiative within the confines of the client's wishes. No experience is necessary, and if you are great with people we will train for this opportunity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Meeting with clients/contractors long term to determine functions and styles for the intended space
-Reading and working with blueprints, as well as jobsite measuring
-Proficiency with 20/20 software
-Scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, and project management
-Implementing selling and operational kitchen design processes
REQUIREMENTS:
-Excellent organizational and time management skills
-Familiarity with math equations
-Active listening skills, with respect for differing opinions and styles
-Creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
