Mom works from home in a dedicated space away from the main living area while Dad works away from home. The home is respectful, clean, and peaceful—with routines that are valued but not rigid.

Position Overview

• Location: Wilhelmina Rise, Honolulu
• Child: 6.5 months old
• Start date: 2nd or 3rd week of April
• Schedule:
• Mon - 8am - 2pm
• Wed - 8am - 2pm
• Friday - 8am - 2pm

Responsibilities

• Engaging with developmentally appropriate play, books, music, and movement
• Supporting nap routines and bottle feeding (baby-led weaning in progress)
• Washing bottles, baby laundry, tidying play areas
• Light meal prep
• Occasional walks or trips to the park
• Maintaining a clean and organized child-focused environment

Ideal Candidate

The family is seeking a nurturing, experienced nanny with:

• A calm, confident presence and proactive mindset
• Experience working with infants, especially around key milestones
• The ability to work both collaboratively and independently
• A love for music, gentle play, and engaging early learning
• Comfort in a home with a friendly dog and two-story layout

Someone who can offer insights when helpful, support a breastfeeding household, and honor the family’s rhythms will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• 3 years of professional infant care experience
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Clear background and driving record
• Lives on O‘ahu and has reliable transportation
• Comfort with dogs and stairs
• Dependable and punctual

Preferred:

• Familiarity with baby-led weaning (BLW)
• Experience working with first-time parents andwillingness to offer gentle guidance and insights from past experiences

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $25/hour
• Annualized Equivalent: Approximately $16,848/year for 18 hours/week
• Additional Benefits:

• W-2 payroll and tax withholding
