Without extended family nearby, they are hoping to build a trusted relationship with a nurturing nanny who can offer care as they adjust to life with two kids.
Position Overview
- Location: Kaneohe
- Start Date: mid-September
- Schedule: one day per week, 8am–4pm, with the potential to expand to two days per week based on the family’s needs
Responsibilities
- Feeding support (bottle prep and feeding)
- Diapering and maintaining a clean changing area
- Gentle play and developmentally appropriate stimulation
- Managing nap routines
- Keeping baby’s space tidy
- Occasional baby laundry or sanitizing bottles
No household or sibling responsibilities are expected, as the older child is in school and mom is typically home during care hours.
Ideal Candidate
- Calm, confident, discreet, and nurturing
- Able to work independently and without micromanagement
- Reliable, respectful, and adaptable
- Vaccinated preferred (Tdap) but not required; willingness to mask in early months is appreciated while feeding
- Experienced in newborn care and supporting healthy development
- Patient and flexible with evolving routines
- Proactive and organized with excellent communication
Qualifications
- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Experience with infant care
- Currently residing on O‘ahu
- Background check, driver's record check
- CPR and First Aid certified
