Job Summary:
The Service Porter facilitates positive first impressions for all clients, setting the tone for the customer experience and ensuring every guest receives exceptional customer service.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greets all guests with a smile, communicating with customers courteously, efficiently, and professionally.
- Assisting clients in the service lane, including vehicle pick up and drop off.
- Retrieves vehicle history files, assigns sequence number, and obtains/verifies customer and vehicle data.
- Follows up with guests throughout the on-site visit, providing status updates and ensuring utmost satisfaction.
- Embraces technology and software.
- Supports the Sales and Service teams, connecting with team members to build positive partnerships.
- Builds and maintains a strong rapport with all clients, resolving customer concerns and complaints.
- Maintains vehicle service history and department correspondence files.
- Ensures the lounge is clean and stocked with supplies and refreshments.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalence required.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Professional Appearance.
- Weekend/Weeknights Availability.
- Reliable.
- Superior customer service.
- Strong communication skills and work ethic.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screen (background & hair follicle drug test)
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat.
- Prolonged periods of walking on a level surface throughout the dealership
