What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinic RN, LPN or CMA position at Hancock County Health System?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Obtains brief history/present illness, completes charting per policy, provides quality patient care and is a patient advocate. Maintains competency of duties for each of the clinics, practices appropriate nursing judgment.
HOURS:
Full-time, 72 hours per pay period, work four days a week with a rotating day off each week. Will work an occasional Saturday morning. Will routinely work between the Britt Medical Clinic and the Garner Medical Clinic.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and must be currently licensed as a LPN or RN in the state of Iowa. CMA must be a graduate of an approved school for medical assistant. Previous clinic experience preferred. Must have good clinical skills. Must have excellent customer service skills, computer skills, ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task, telephone etiquette, and ability to work well with others as a team.
