What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Coordinator position at Hancock & Moore?
- Social Media. Work with product teams to create a calendar of posts for various social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube. Write and execute this plan keeping in mind the Hancock & Moore voice/tone. (Who is the Hancock & Moore customer, what does she value?)
- Media Database Development. Update & maintain press database. Obtain database from AHFA, HP Market Authority, merge, eliminate duplicates, and manage press and PR mailings.
- Whats Happening. Send an eblast once weekly to sales representatives and internal managers of product going through the Hancock & Moore and Jessica Charles factories each week.
- Website Maintenance. Continually evaluate Hancock & Moore, Jessica Charles, Randall Allan and Maitland-Smith websites for imagery and navigation improvement. Where possible work on product descriptions.
- Market Planning. This includes assisting in the planning and execution of sales meetings, press and dealer parties, press kits & tours, price lists, and public relations for the April and October markets. Update database for invitation mailing; collect RSVP responses.
- Product in Print. Co-ordinate all activities related to obtaining magazine and newspaper credits and photography placements. Maintain chronological and by magazine notebooks and prepare a quarterly summary of press received. Work with Web team to upload files to website and push content to our internal teams.
- Competitive Advertising Analysis. Complete an analysis of media and creative strategies of top 10 competitors.
- Image Distribution. Manage distributing images to the press and dealers.
- SEO Analytics. Generate and distribute a monthly Google Analytics summary for the Hancock & Moore, Jessica Charles and Maitland-Smith websites. Monitor and summarize all digital advertising, print advertising and digital marketing efforts.
- Fabric ID. Identify all product and fabric in new/reprinted catalogs/supplements. Effectively communicate this information to the Sales Reps and to customer service. Assist customer service in identifying items in catalogs, national ads, etc. for consumers. Assist consumers with misc. items in ads/catalogs.
- Administrative Assistance.
- Email Blasts. Develop monthly email blasts for Hancock & Moore, Jessica Charles and Maitland-Smith and distribute through Mailchimp. Update contact list as needed.
- Other. Marketing and other related tasks as assigned by manager
- MS Suite.
- Knowledge of Hancock & Moore, Jessica Charles and Maitland-Smith product.
- Accurate typing. Desktop publishing Skills.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel.
