The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and productivity. The Plant Manager will monitor processes to ensure efficiency and compliance in the industrial/manufacturing process. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective maintenance processes, minimize downtime, and uphold safety standards. Plant Manager Responsibilities:
- Operations Management to include plan, organize and direct daily operations
- Staff Management to include oversee, hire, schedule, train and perform evaluations
- Budget and Financial Management to develop and manage the plants budget. Monitor expenses and identify areas of cost savings.
- Safety Compliance to ensure all plant operations are in compliance with relevant safety regulations and industry standards
- Communications and Coordination to include working effectively with other departments and stakeholders. Plant representation at meetings and presentations. Accurate record keeping of all plant operations.
Additional Preferred Plant Manager Requirements:
- Preferred commercial or industrial laundry operations.
- Minimum of 6 years of management experience in an industrial or manufacturing facility.
- Experience ensuring quality and adhering to set standards.
- Experience in planning, assigning, reviewing and evaluating the work of others.
- Preferred knowledge of laundry equipment, chemicals and safety procedures.
- Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills are essential, including excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues related to equipment, process and staff performance.
- Strong organizational skills to manage schedules, inventory and staff effectively.
- Experience providing excellent customer service.
