Handi-Foil Corporation is a leading manufacturer of disposable aluminum products. The company is best known for producing aluminum foil containers, pans, and other related products commonly used in foodservice, home kitchens, and industrial sectors. The company operates nationally with three manufacturing plants providing world class customer service. We are looking for an experienced and proactive Helpdesk Technician to join our team and help install, troubleshoot, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals.
Position Overview
As a Helpdesk Technician at Handi-foil, Corp, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals. You will resolve internal user problems and ensure correct operation of personal computers. You will be responsible for maintaining parts inventory and logs all service/repair activity and perform system setups for new hires.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide help desk support by managing support tickets. These may include:
- Troubleshooting hardware and peripherals (PCs, printers, scanners, etc.)
- Supporting users with software issues (E-Mail, MS Office, ERP, etc.)
- Solving network connectivity issues
* Configure and deploy new hardware, such as computers, phone equipment, and mobile devices.
* Monitor and manage system updates.
* Maintain the printer infrastructure.
* Assist the IT team with various upgrade and implementation projects.
* Document new software and procedures.
Qualifications:
· Minimum three years developing comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems. Windows Server knowledge a plus.
· Minimum High School diploma, Associate or Bachelor degrees preferred.
· Comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to troubleshoot Office application issues.
· Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic TCP/IP problems.
· Willingness to work a flexible schedule when necessary, and intelligently prioritize tasks and projects.
· Ability to work from the Naperville location when necessary.
· CompTIA A and/or Microsoft Certified Professional certifications a plus.
· Experience in Apple mobile devices a plus.
· Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
