Handi Ramp, founded in 1958, is the oldest manufacturer of aluminum and steel ramps in the United States. Essential Duties And Responsibilities (other Duties May Be Assigned)

• Building metal products, which could include cutting, drilling, bending, welding, assembling, grinding and cleaning
• Assist with monitoring Inventory levels for reorder stock
• Assist with general warehouse cleaning and maintenance
• Assist with moving raw materials and finished products around via pallet jack, forklift or overhead crane
  
  

Requirements

• Must be extremely detailed and a quick learner
• Must be highly motivated and positive individual
• Exceptional listener with excellent time management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multitask
• High level of integrity and work ethic
• MIG Welder with minimum 2 years' experience
• Ability to MIG weld Aluminum or Steel from .063 to ½-inch material
• Must be able to regularly lift 75 pounds
• Ability to stand for at least 8 hours
• Ability to build items with and without blueprints
• Ability to use all shop tools including, hand grinders, cut off wheels, up saws, chop saws, welding torch, hand plasma machine, etc.
• Knowledge of building fixtures and jigs
• Good verbal and written communication
• Will assist in tracking of supplies and raw materials
• Must be a team player and problem solver
