Responsibilities
- Assist experienced tradespeople in various construction tasks, including but not limited to:
- - Building and installing structures - Door hanging and trim carpentry, framing - Flooring installation and drywall work
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision.
- Participate in construction estimating processes by learning how to assess project requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Attend training sessions and workshops as required to enhance your skills. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong willingness to learn and take direction from experienced professionals.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and construction practices is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Previous experience or coursework in areas such as drywall, masonry, flooring installation, or water damage restoration is advantageous but not mandatory.
