Support Your Community With Neighborhood House! (age 22 ) Referral
We believe transportation is a basic human right. Access to transportation means mobility, and being mobile allows a person to connect with his or her community and other essential life destinations.
As a Ride Connection volunteer driver, you will create transportation access in partnership with Neighborhood House in SW Portland communities. You will be the lifeline that helps older adults, Veterans, and people with disabilities stay connected to their community and thrive. You’ll build relationships with customers, become the friendly face they look forward to seeing, and keep people moving.

Major Duties and Responsibilities :
Time Commitment : M-F, 8 : 30-5
Flexible schedule within those times.
Ride Connection's mission is to link accessible, responsive transportation alternatives with individual and community needs and to create independence and community connections through travel options. We cannot provide all the rides our customers need without support from volunteers every day.
The simple act of getting someone where they need to go can be an incredibly rewarding experience. We rely on caring and compassionate volunteer drivers to provide valuable rides to the people in our community who need it most. Every day our volunteers make a huge difference in the lives of people in our community.
