Job Duties/Scope Of Work
This position will support the Interface Management group within the HMIS Interface and Integration Services organization.
The HMIS Interface Management specialist will serve as the technical and business interface between the Other Hanford Site Contractors (OHCs) and the HMIS service delivery organizations to ensure successful delivery of Hanford Site services. The IFM specialist will interface with all levels of HMIS managers and staff (5) other Hanford Site prime contractors and the U.S Department of Energy (DOE) for the purpose of managing technical, financial, contractual, regulatory and administrative interfaces that arise in daily HMIS operations. Position requires broad knowledge of current Hanford Site operations, personnel, and practices to be most effective.
The candidate selected for this position will be required/expected to perform the following essential job duties:
- Provide strong customer support and problem-solving expertise with all levels of management in working with HMIS, Hanford Site prime contractors, and DOE management and staff to optimize inter-contractor work
- Contract administration knowledge and skills
- Prepare HMIS Interface Management documents, read, and interpret documentation and data.
- Use analytical thinking, intuition, and issue resolution skills to solve problems.
- Develop, maintain, and update interface agreements, service delivery documents, and procedures
- Contribute to Interface Management team efforts by supporting group projects.
- Interface with HMIS organizations, customers (i.e., the OHCs), and client (i.e., DOE) organizations to define needs and provide solutions that are high quality, cost-effective, and schedule sensitive.
- Understand key aspects of the Hanford Mission Essential Services Contract (HMESC), especially the J-3 Matrix of Hanford Site Services (J-3 Table) and Section C, Performance Work Statement.
- Understand the HMIS service delivery model and associated technical components to ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
- Support preparation of contract deliverables including the annual forecast of services, Hanford Site interface management plan and governance process, and the HMIS performance evaluation and measurement plan (PEMP).
- Utilize analytical skills in support of Interface Management organization metrics.
- Monitor all parts of the interface agreement update process
- Help develop monthly and annual program reporting, including monthly and annual HMIS iCAS (DevonWay Dashboard) reporting.
- Set goals, provide motivation, and thoroughly support Interface Management group and team members.
- Support the Interface and Integration Services vice president, deputy vice president, and directors with special projects as requested.
Basic Qualifications
* BA/BS Degree - OR - an equivalent combination of education, plus eight (8) years of related experience.
- Proven experience working with internal technical subject matter experts and representatives at all levels of the organization.
- Experience working with Other Hanford Contractors (OHCs)
