Responsibilities:

  • Provide coverage for Reception Office including phone coverage, greeting and directing visitors, opening/closing office procedures and handling incoming/outgoing mail.
  • Maintain kitchen area ensuring it is kept clean and stocked daily.
  • Assist with employee appreciation event planning, communication, scheduling and coordinating.
  • Assist in New Employee On-boarding and post-hire processing.
  • Assist with pre-hire documentation requirements and form processing.
  • Assist in Off-boarding processing.
  • Participate in special Human Resource projects including Open Enrollment Activities, poster compliance and distribution of annual required notices.
  • Manage relationships with contract agencies for temporary staff members.
  • Assist with screening, selection, scheduling, and time reporting for contract associates.
  • Assist with review and processing invoices related to Human Resource functions to include contract associate staffing agencies and occupational medicine invoices.
  • Maintain electronic files including employment applications and resumes.
  • Distribute and maintain adequate supply of employment packets in support of the Human Resources Department.
  • Provide assistance and coordination in the development and maintenance of human resources manual filing systems.
  • Participate in additional projects as assigned.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office software required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Attention to detail and ability to operate with high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Organization skills a must.
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships exhibiting tact and diplomacy while using independent judgment.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage a heavy workload.

Experience & Education requirements: Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field with 1 - 2 years' experience in an administrative role preferred.

Typical Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:45AM - 4:15PM
