Hanford Tank Waste Operations & Closure (H2C) delivers exceptional performance in safely removing, treating, and disposing of tank waste. H2C leads the nation's largest and most complex radioactive waste cleanup, including closure of the legacy waste tanks at Hanford containing 56 million gallons of radioactive and chemical waste. The H2C Talent Acquisition Manager will oversee the talent acquisition function within the Human Resources Talent Acquisition department to recruit, engage and retain top talent. Position will partner with H2C leaders to design, develop, and execute recruitment strategies to identify top talent while ensuring compliance with current laws, regulations, and company policies.
Selected candidate needs to be analytical, and data driven to provide visibility of our talent efforts and results through reporting. Also, must have presence to deal with executive and senior staff. Effective communicator comfortable in networking events and making connections with industry groups and education institutions.
The role and responsibilities include:
- Manages full lifecycle recruitment (post, source, prescreening, schedule, background, references, offer, onboarding) activities.
- Develops appropriate marketing strategies, defines roles and responsibilities of hiring team, and ensures an effective and efficient recruitment lifecycle.
- Serves as a business partner with hiring managers to develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies.
- Builds recruiting capacity of H2C and hiring teams; conduct presentations and training on recruiting and behavioral interviewing techniques.
- Collects and coordinates aggregate data for talent pool and conducts data analysis that drives action plans at the appropriate levels.
- Develops and implements creative and innovative sourcing strategies and techniques to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
Required Qualifications
Grade 21:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Human Resources or related field with twelve (12) years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated experience in lifecycle recruitment, development of recruitment marketing strategies, and in leading Talent Acquisition professionals.
Desired Qualifications
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR
Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the company's philosophy on compensation for exempt and salaried non-exempt employees, H2C takes into consideration a variety of factors when determining initial grade and salary to include assigned job scope and responsibility, a candidate's qualifications as compared to internal comparators performing in a similar role, and the external labor market. A salary offer will be made at the appropriate grade level and within the targeted hiring range posted according to these factors. Note a candidate's prior salary history will not be taken into consideration.
Hiring Range Minimum: $142,038
Hiring Range Maximum: $179,113
