Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and be proficient in various administrative tasks. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing support to staff, and enhancing overall productivity. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for managing schedules, handling communications, and maintaining records while fostering a positive environment for both clients and colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily office operations, including telephone communications, correspondence, mailings, and record-keeping.
- Greet participants and visitors, providing a welcoming environment.
- Prepare forms, charts, and manage filing and copying.
- Coordinate transportation schedules with providers, handle reservations, cancellations, and maintain records.
- Order lunches from nutrition sites if applicable.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Center Director.
Requirements:
- High school graduate and at least 18 years old.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows, with strong administrative skills.
- Fluent in English (spoken, written, and read).
- Provide a health exam, TB clearance, and current CPR/First Aid certification or obtain it within six months of employment.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
