Manages relationships with outside vendor partners, including top-tier consumer package goods (CPG) providers, in support of loyalty and shopper marketing programs at Hannaford. Works collaboratively with category and merchandising leaders to help vendors deliver on their business and investment commitments through both standard and custom programs and offers. Crafts program and offer strategies that increase sales at the product and retailer levels. Inspires confidence and trust with all stakeholders, handling investments with care and advocating for solutions that deliver positive outcomes. Shares knowledge and tracks progress with category and marketing partners, building awareness and support for loyalty and shopper marketing programs and opportunities in the process.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with outside vendor partners to ensure business and investment commitments are met and optimized through loyalty and shopper marketing programs
- Craft programs and offer strategies that increase sales at the product and brand level
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement or modifications that will enhance offer relevance/attractiveness and enable all parties to meet or exceed their goals
- Build awareness of loyalty and shopper program opportunities and impact
- Report out program and offer performance leveraging resources such as sales insight tools, XACT and Apex, and Redemption Reports. Work with loyalty analytics/targeting agency to evaluate offer issuances and optimize offer efficiencies. Communicate post campaign data with vendors and proactively provide strategies that will improve future campaign ROI.
- Maintain budget reporting, providing updates to Manager, category managers and external vendors.
- Participate in key strategy and planning sessions and assist with presentation and selling materials for vendor /broker and category partners.
- Work collaboratively across all to ensure all project requirements and timelines are met and the plan is delivered with excellence.
- Supports Manager of Customer Loyalty in the creation of internal and external activities and timelines surrounding the development and implementation of targeted marketing programs designed to improve customer loyalty and shopping behavior, including negotiations, budgets, selling efforts, invoicing and events
- Maintain a strong knowledge of the retail food industry trends and customer specific marketing trends.
- Inspire confidence and trust, and foster positive relationships with all partners and stakeholders
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree, in marketing, sales or a related field or equivalent work experience
- 5 years combined experience in retail, merchandising, or category
- 2 years' Experience with marketing promotions
- Knowledge of consumer-packaged goods companies, retail trade practices and category management
- Knowledge of retail food industry, store operations and marketing
