This position is responsible for coordinating referral appointments for clients of the Hannahville Indian Community. Generate documentation for all referrals and relay appropriate instructions to the client. Assist nursing and business office staff, as needed. Perform clerical duties in the Business Office Department. This position will also relieve and/or substitute for the front office desk receptionist. Associate degree in Medical Office Specialist or similar field. CPR certified or ability to become certified within 6 months of hire. Strong medical experience in health care setting preferred. 3 or more years desired. Excellent organizational/written and verbal skills. Typing and computer experience. Good communication skills. Background in medical coding and medical office procedures. Knowledge of medical terminology; generally accepted office practices, confidentiality and secured record managment; Hannahville Indian Community; in Medical Records practice and HIPAA Regulations. ability to multi-task, prioritize and work with efficiency and organization; to carry out assigned projects to completion; to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing; to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and general public.

Pay: $12.48 - $17.18 per hour
