Ensures efficient and cost effective acquisition of supplies and equipment used throughout the organization. Performs buying and other purchasing procedures in support of the functions of the Materials Management Department.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associates degree or courses in Business / Accounting or related fields preferred
- Two years purchasing experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Basic computer skills with experience producing spreadsheets and word processing
- Ability to organize work, work independently, and work on multiple projects at one time
- Ability to operate a variety of office equipment (copier, fax, calculator)
