What are the responsibilities and job description for the Organizational Development Specialist/LMS position at Hannibal Regional?
Plans, develops, coordinates, and/or delivers education for physicians, team members, and community members in support of the Human Resources Division of Hannibal Regional Healthcare System. Determines educational needs based on team member and physician feedback and assessment, leads performance improvement activities, and tracks and reports on variance in completion and/or performance. Responsible for developing, delivering, and reporting on organization-wide annual compliance education. Functions as the Learning Management System (LMS) administrator. Plans and delivers new team member orientation, provides education and training on new technology/protocols, as well as, ongoing development needs. Manages new program development for professional competencies including all aspects of needs assessment, competency modeling, project scoping, content mapping, curriculum design, project delivery, and coordination/administration of program curricula.
- Bachelor’s Degree required, experience will be considered in lieu of education
- Prior experience in training and development preferred
- Knowledge and skill in program design, implementation and evaluation
- Working knowledge of regulatory agency requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in Articulate E-Learning authoring software preferred
- Ability to learn multiple computer programs
- Ability to work in a self-directed role
- Display exceptional professionalism with the ability to follow-through on projects
- Possess strong communication, organizational, leadership, and critical thinking skills
