Purchasing Strategist

Job Description:
In this key role, you will oversee the Americas Purchasing function, driving success through effective sourcing, procurement, and supplier management. Your expertise will be essential in delivering high-quality results while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

Main Objectives:

1. Sourcing and Contracting: Lead the process of identifying, evaluating, and contracting with suppliers that meet our needs.
2. Procurement Excellence: Develop and implement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
3. Supplier Development: Foster collaborative relationships with suppliers, promoting open communication and mutual understanding.
4. Cost Savings: Drive initiatives to achieve cost reductions, improving overall efficiency and competitiveness.
5. Process Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Automotive Industry.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
