ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct and support shipping analysts
- Ensure that processes and programs are in place and operating efficiently to guarantee timely receipt of all customer requirements.
- Responsible for the accuracy of data existing in the shipping systems – part numbers, BOM, quantity, codes, etc.
- Customer invoice verification, shipping result confirmation, and daily closing.
- Manage transportation related programs concerning deliveries to customers.
- Lead Production/QC/Engineering teams to meet urgent requests from Customers, and resolve issues in Shipping.
- Serve as main customer contact for shipping related issues to Ford, GM, and Mazda.
- BS in related field preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in shipping preferred.
- Must have excellent communication skills in English and Korean.
- Must be fully functional with basic Computer skills (Excel, Word, Email, etc…)
- Experience working at least two years in some MRP system (SAP, ERP, etc…) preferred.
- Must be able to lift up to 35lbs
- Must be able to stand for up to 5 hours a day
- Must be ok with frequent bending or reaching arms forward/above the shoulders.
- Must be able to push or pull around 50 lbs (carts)
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to stay focused for extended periods of time
- Ability to analyst information, identify problems, and provide solutions.
