JOB SUMMARY:
Hanover Bank is looking for a full-time Commercial Closing Administrator II. The Commercial Closing Administrator II is responsible for facilitating commercial loan closings and fundings in accordance with credit approval and Bank policy. The individual in this position has satisfactory knowledge and experience in determining required documentation necessary to close moderately complex loan requests.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively manage an individual loan pipeline of various and moderately complex loan requests to include new loans, short term extensions and modifications from post approval through to closing and funding ensuring timeliness and all expectations and conditions have been met.
- Maintain positive and cohesive working relationships with all internal and external partners to include BDO’s, Underwriters, Relationship Managers, Loan Servicers, Attorneys and Title Companies
- Draft internal loan closing documents and Bank forms in accordance with credit approval and Bank policy.
- Review attorney prepared closing documents and other closing items including but not limited to title policy, insurance certificates, survey etc.
- Perform independent quality assurance review of internally prepared closing documents and bank forms drafted by other closing administrators to ensure the accuracy of critical data and in accordance with credit approval and assigned checklist.
- Coordinates ordering of third-party reports to include but not limited to property appraisals and environmental reports.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in commercial lending, specifically in processing and documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to be self-sufficient, utilizing experience and skill set to accomplish responsibilities accurately and efficiently.
- Must be professional, comfortable speaking with external and internal contacts with a demonstrated ability to effectively tailor the message appropriately to the audience and situation.
- Demonstrated ability to convey thoughts and ideas effectively via written formats, including emails, letters, and electronic platforms.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- Apply job knowledge and documentation expertise to a diverse array of complex lending products.
- Communicate effectively and constructively with all internal and external partners to manage expectations.
- Know when to escalate issues to management.
- Conduct and complete additional assignments/projects as designated by management.
- Knowledge of loan origination platforms and document software is a plus.
- Associate’s degree with an emphasis on business, finance and/or accounting preferred.

Salary: $84,000.00 - $101,000 Yearly; placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level.
