Job Summary: Part-time Firefighter/Maintenance Worker
We are seeking a motivated and flexible individual to join our team as a part-time Firefighter/Maintenance Worker. In this role, you will perform maintenance tasks on fire equipment and facilities while also providing emergency medical services and responding to emergencies.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair fire equipment, vehicles, and facilities to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Provide emergency medical services, including patient assessment, treatment, and transportation.
- Assist with daily operations, including vehicle maintenance, equipment checks, and facility upkeep.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed.
Requirements:
- High School Graduate or G.E.D.
- Valid Driver's License
- Pennsylvania Firefight 1 or acceptable equivalent certification
- Pennsylvania E.M.T. or First Responder Certification
- Pennsylvania Emergency Vehicle Operator Certification
- Minimum 2 years experience in Fire-Rescue Services
- Strong communication and organizational skills
