What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warranty Administrator position at Hansel Automotive Group?
This person must be able to process claims and balance the schedules when processing payment from the manufacturer. We are looking for a minimum of one year experience processing warranty claims in a dealership environment.
Job Purpose
To enhance the customer experience by communicating with the customer, the service staff, and the manufacturer to ensure timely service, confirming that all appropriate documents are in place and following up with customers to make sure their needs were met.
Pay Range
Expected monthly earnings, with baseline performance is between $5,500 and $6,500 per month

Responsibilities and Duties
- Coding and processing claims for submission to the Manufacturer for payment on warranty work performed in the shop
- Reviewing and balancing the various warranty schedules
- Appealing claims as needed for payment on work performed
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of one year of Automotive Warranty Experience
- Knowledge of automotive warranty procedures
- Understanding of Automotive Service Terms
- Ability to multi-task
- Computer skills
- Sharp communication skills
- Pass a criminal background screening
- Pass a drug test

Pay Defined: The Warranty Administrator position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Hourly wages include a Base of $20.00 to $23.00 hr, depending upon experience. The position may also pay a bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if no sales are made) without any fixed upper limit.
