We are currently assisting our client, an employee benefits solutions company in Olympia, with a search for an Operations Support Specialist.
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an Operations Support Specialist to join our client's insurance agency in Olympia, WA. If you have proven administrative / data entry skills, are detail-oriented, and enjoy a fast-paced environment, we'd love to speak with you!
General Responsibilities:
- Work directly with external agents and agencies in the submission of group materials through various submission platforms.
- Review, process and audit enrollment and renewal documents for small businesses enrolled or enrolling in any of our group (employer) benefit products, including group medical, dental, vision and life insurance policies.
- Compile and deliver digital files to our carrier partners.
- Update and maintain accurate account information in CRM data-base.
- Update and maintain report relative to quoting, billing, enrollment and/or renewal activity.
- Assist in periodic data audits.
- Provide administrative assistance to our Operations team and partners.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience in data entry, data processing, or administrative experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel.
- PDF experience and proficiency.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Full time availability.
- The candidate will be expected to obtain their Washington State Insurance Producer license w/in the first 90 days of employment.
Preferred skills:
- Experience with digital documentation (DocuSign)
- Experience with Microsoft CRM system(s)
Location: Olympia, WA, hybrid remote (one day a week required on-site; subject to change if needs of the business require it)
Schedule: This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. The position is currently considered a hybrid-remote position, requiring at least one day on-site in the office. This is subject to change based on the business needs of the organization.
Compensation Range: $40k – $52k
