Hansell Tierney is searching for a highly skilled Transition Management Lead to manage the workforce transition associated with our client's HCM implementation. This role is critical in preparing the workforce for future-state roles within HR, IT, and Workforce Management (WFM). The successful candidate will lead a structured and strategic process to minimize disruption and align the current workforce with future business needs.
Location: Seattle, WA – Hybrid
Length of Assignment: 12-month Contract

Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Workforce Transition Strategy
- Establish a comprehensive governance framework and transition plan for HR, IT, and WFM.
- Create a structured approach for employee transition, including clear timelines and milestones.
Capability Assessment and Role Alignment
- Assess current employee skills, competencies, and capabilities against future-state requirements.
- Identify best-fit roles for employees and address skill gaps through targeted training and development.
Employee Selection and Deployment
- Develop and execute a strategy for employee selection, de-selection, and resource deployment.
- Manage the recruitment of new talent and the upskilling of current staff to meet business objectives.
Training and Retention Planning
- Build and execute comprehensive training and retention plans to minimize capability gaps.
- Develop processes to ensure key employees are retained during the transition.
Performance Tracking and Sustainability
- Deploy performance metrics to monitor transition success and ensure long-term sustainability.
- Adjust strategies based on feedback and business outcomes post-go-live.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in workforce transition or organizational change management, preferably within HR, IT, or WFM.
- Strong background in capability assessment, employee alignment, and talent development.
- Excellent project management and strategic planning skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Understanding of HR and IT systems, including workforce management tools.
- Familiarity with transition frameworks and best practices in large-scale organizational change.
Estimated Compensation Range: $50.00 - $85.00/hr.
