We are seeking an Assistant Controller to join our dynamic team at Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT. This pivotal role will support our financial operations and contribute to our mission of delivering top-notch recruitment services within the agricultural industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the company's financial operations and reporting processes.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure integrity of financial data.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities to guide strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits and ensure compliance with public accounting standards.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for management.
- Maintain the general ledger and oversee double-entry bookkeeping processes.
- Assist in developing financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Proven experience in financial management and reporting within a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of double entry bookkeeping and general ledger accounting principles.
- Excellent skills in financial report writing and analysis.
- Familiarity with public accounting practices is a plus but not required.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks effectively.
