Professional Development Manager / Attorney Engagement Specialist (Washington, DC - Up to $60 per hour, 6 month contract)
We are currently partnering with a global law firm in their for an experienced Attorney Engagement/Legal Talent Specialist to join their team on a temporary basis to support attorney onboarding, development, and retention initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate mentoring, onboarding, and professional development programs
- Plan and execute events including panels, socials, and network gatherings
- Manage logistics: invites, RSVPs, room bookings, catering, and follow-up
- Track internal data (personnel changes, mentoring pairings, etc.)
- Serve as a go-to contact for attorneys seeking development and wellbeing support
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in a law firm or professional services environment is a must.
- Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills
- Comfortable managing calendars, budgets, and internal comms
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
