The Customer Service / Data Entry Position is responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a service company office. This role involves handling customer inquiries, scheduling service appointments, processing orders, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a friendly and professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information about services, scheduling, and pricing.
- Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule service appointments, ensuring that technicians are efficiently assigned and customers are informed of appointment details.
- Order Processing: Assist with processing customer orders, including generating invoices, collecting payments, and confirming order details.
- Administrative Support: Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining customer records in the company’s database.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between customers and service technicians, ensuring that any issues or special requests are communicated effectively.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly, escalating issues to the Service Manager when necessary.
- Follow-Up: Conduct follow-up calls or emails to ensure customer satisfaction after service appointments and encourage repeat business.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, service requests, and transactions for future reference.
- Office Maintenance: Help maintain a clean and organized office environment, including managing office supplies and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a service-related industry.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in using office software (e.g., Word, Excel).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Friendly and professional attitude with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

- May through September: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm & Every other Saturday 8am-12pm
- October through April: Monday - Friday 9am-3pm

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
