General Job Description

The IT Specialist will lead the development and implementation of process improvement projects and advanced troubleshooting techniques. The IT Specialist is responsible for assisting, maintaining, and improving an organization’s IT systems, network and infrastructure. They ensure the smooth operation of hardware, software, and security systems to support business functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

IT System Management:

• Deploy and manage network and server systems, including but not limited to Palo Alto firewalls, Aruba Network solutions, Aruba ClearPass, and Windows Server 2019-based MES servers.
• Administer and optimize MS SQL Server 2019 to support enterprise applications.
• Implementation of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Azure Information Protection (AIP) solutions.
• Deployment and administration of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Intune, Entra, and Azure Active Directory.

IT Infrastructure Project Management and Asset Management:

• Oversee the IT infrastructure setup for new production plants, including network design, implementation, and optimization.
• Coordinate and manage Manufacturing Execution System (MES) projects, ensuring alignment with production requirements and timelines.
• Maintain and track IT assets, including MES devices (PDA, POPs) and laptops, ensuring proper inventory control and lifecycle management.

Security and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards across IT systems.
• Implement robust security measures to protect company data and infrastructure.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position.

Monday-Friday, core work hours 1st shift

Flexible hours to be available.

Must be available to work weekends when requested by Supervisor.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT systems deployment, management, and infrastructure project oversight.
• Proficiency in network and server administration, including Palo Alto firewalls, Aruba Networks, and Windows Server.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite, Azure AD, and related security tools.
• Experience managing IT assets and supporting MES projects is highly desirable.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred/Desired:

• Bilingual (Korean/English)
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support, networking, or system administration
• Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
• Experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data protection measures.
• Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
