- Work to ensure that everyone inside the Yard, own as well as subcontractors, are safe and are performing their work in accordance with our CORE principles
- Ensure that all HPSI safety procedures, rules and regulations are followed and met
- Lead high-level planning activities, including market research, competitive analysis, forecasting/ scenario planning and execution of comprehensive strategic plans
- Identify potential strategic alliances/partnerships and M&A opportunities, and help support the related deal efforts
- Identify key strategic priorities and allocate the appropriate resources
- Prepare and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Work closely with all departments at the yard to ensure all departments are in alignment with the strategic priorities and are working to facilitate effective implementation
- Track the progress of strategic initiatives
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust activities as needed to optimize results
- Identify potential risks associated with strategic plans and develop plans to mitigate those risks
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned

- 5 years of experience working at a top-tier consulting firm or similar experience in corporate strategy or planning role
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field required. MBA from a top-tier institution is highly preferred
- Strong analytical skills and a high capacity for conceptual thinking
- Can clearly and persuasively communicate strategic recommendations to internal and external audiences at different levels.
- Experience and proficiency creating high quality presentations
- Ability to leverage trust to influence and drive outcomes without formal authority
- Able to structure and present complex business research in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in shipbuilding or defense is preferred (but not required)
- Bilingual in Korean is preferred
