Description
SUMMARY
The CSA Manager manages one of the Civil, Structure, and Architectural works of manufacturing facilities and its Auxiliary facilities and office for Ingot, wafer, cell, and module-integrated Solar Manufacturing Projects. The manager shall coordinate with the design builder and their subcontractors. Especially internal coordination essential with other staffs among CSA team and another teams, such as mechanical, electrical team, utility team, production team and other related teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engineering Management: Manage the technical needs in all stages of factory construction phase and design, including conceptual and detailed system design deliverables, observing regulatory codes as well as requirements of other stakeholders, specify balance of systems, coordinate needs for the permitting.
- Construction Management:
- Manage the Site construction activities related with electrical issues with General Contractor and their subcontractors, the detail tasks including but not limited to Progress Monitoring and Control, Technical Advice, Schedule Management, Risk Control, Claim Management, Inspection & Test, Commissioning, Productivity review, expediting works etc.
- Ensure Completion of works and track all independent testing and inspections as required by Government Authorities and to ensure all required AHJ’s inspections are performed. Support Director of Project Control to develop and review project schedules, cost estimation, bill of materials, budgets, scopes of work, standards and quotes from suppliers;
- Schedule Management: Assist in the development and review of project schedules, cost estimation, bill of materials, budgets, scopes of work, standards, and quotes from contractors
- Evaluate and confirm change order submissions
- Ensure compliance with applicable code and regulations
- Adhere to the policies and procedures of Hanwha Q CELLS.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 10 years of experiences
- Auto CAD, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word and PPT
- Logical and analytical abilities
- A team player, assertive, able to cope with a dynamic surrounding, well coordinate and communication with related teams
- Solid understanding of local code and regulations for mechanical works
- Demonstrated reliability with excellent time-management skills
- Works well under pressure of deadlines
- Verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and explain complex information clearly
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certifications.
- Experience in semiconductor, solar, or industrial water treatment projects.
- Knowledge of lean construction principles and sustainable water management.
- Experience of large scale and advanced technology projects, such as semi-conduct and/or solar PV projects
- Strong analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of plan designs. Ability to understand, evaluate and make confirmation on the proposals (RFP’s).
