We see designers as key members of software development process, playing critical role in many aspects and having influence on product decisions. Our vision of designer role is quite wide - it includes not only creating mockups and prototypes based on formalized requirements, but also doing market research, finding and understanding user problems, coming up with new ideas, testing and analyzing current implementation, and more.
You are an ideal candidate if you are able to :
Understand complex systems with a lot of moving parts - we develop b2b software that has a lot of functionality, oriented towards experienced users, and is integrated with many other software and hardware services.
Navigate ambiguous requirements - we add new functionality not to satisfy some formal requirements, but to enable our products to help people with their everyday activities. Finding out what, how and why something needs to be done to make our products better, and sharing this knowledge with other team members is an important part of work.
Make decisions without having comprehensive data - due to the nature of our industry, there are many areas where we cannot rely on statistics and user testing, and we need to make decisions based on our knowledge, understanding of the market and sense of what is right.
Work independently without constant supervision - we believe that the best results can be achieved by people who understand what and why they are doing, are not afraid of responsibility, and are willing to make everything work - not just have Jira ticket closed.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience working as product or UX / UI designer
- Proficiency with Figma
- Experience designing interfaces that were developed and shipped to the actual users
- Experience creating, maintaining, and applying design systems
- Understanding of software development process
- Portfolio that demonstrates the points above
- Provide Link to portfolio
