We’re looking for a skilled technician who excels in comprehensive pre-testing, contact lens fittings, and patient education to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and assist with comprehensive exam pretests, including autorefraction, lensometry, visual acuity, fundus imaging and tonometry to support optometrists in delivering precise vision care.
  • Educate and train patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and proper care, ensuring confidence and compliance with best practices.
  • Assist in patient check-in and flow management, ensuring a seamless and organized exam experience.
  • Keep detailed and up-to-date medical records, adhering to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards.

Provide exceptional customer service, helping patients select the best contact lenses for their needs.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3 years of experience as an Optical Technician, preferably in an optometry practice or vision care setting.
  • Strong understanding of pre-testing procedures, contact lens fittings, and patient education techniques.
  • Tech-savvy with experience using EMR systems, scheduling software, and inventory management tools.
  • A passion for eye health, beauty, and fashion-forward trends.
  • Excellent communication skills and a patient-first approach to care.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
