What are the responsibilities and job description for the Injection Molding Tech II position at Hapco Inc.?
We are seeking an experienced Injection Molding Technician. The position is responsible for determining the best process conditions for all molding jobs, implement new systems, develop and train new personnel. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance standards.
Responsibilities:
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines when operating injection molding machines.
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet customer specifications.
- Set up the injection molding machine with the correct parameters for each job.
- Monitor the injection molding process and make adjustments as needed.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the injection molding process.
- Maintain records of production, quality checks, and other relevant information.
- Perform set-up, material handling, or supervisory duties when required.
- Maintain a smooth flow of communication between production and other related departments.
- Be able to trouble shoot machine problems and coordinate fixes with maintenance.
Qualifications:
- 5 years experience in an injection molding tech position. Trouble shooting a must.
- Good working knowledge of injection molds and polymers.
- Experience with Cincinnati Injection molders and systems a plus.
- Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude
- Good written, computer and communication skills needed.
