Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Event Sales Manager to oversee the sales process for weddings and private events. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in event sales, strong industry knowledge, marketing expertise, and experience with TripleSeat or similar event management software. This role is critical to delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving revenue growth, and ensuring seamless communication across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to attract and secure wedding and private event bookings.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and industry professionals.
- Conduct venue tours and consultations to showcase event spaces and packages.
- Manage client inquiries, proposals, contracts, and event details using TripleSeat.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless event execution.
- Plan and execute marketing initiatives to drive awareness and bookings.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Present weekly updates to the team via reporting, highlighting sales performance, upcoming events, and client feedback.
- Prepare detailed documents and event information to share with internal departments during BEO (Banquet Event Order) meetings.
- Maintain and update marketing materials, such as brochures and digital assets.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications:
- 4–5 years of experience in event sales, event planning, or related roles within the wedding and private event industry.
- Proficiency in TripleSeat or similar event management platforms.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to prepare and present reports and documentation effectively.
- Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams and participating in BEO meetings.
- A passion for creating memorable events and delivering exceptional client experiences.

The base pay range for this position is a salary range of $80,000 - $90,000. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
