Description
Job Title : Behavior Technician (Per Diem Hybrid)
Location : CP Rochester - Rochester, NY
Salary : $18.00 - $23.00 per hour commensurate with experience
Employment : This is a per diem position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday during business hours. Evening work may be required as job duties demand.
Summary / Objective : To provide technical assistance to the Applied Behavior Sciences Specialist by collecting, analyzing and summarizing behavior data collected at CP Rochester IRA's. This includes presenting previously collected data at team meetings as well as summarizing data for upcoming psychiatry / counseling appointments. Responsibilities also include keeping behavior documents current in the charts located at the residence and monitoring plans for effectiveness.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a psychology related field and / or experience commensurate with a basic foundation in general psychology including knowledge of basic behavioral principles and concepts.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid NYS driver's license and meet CP Rochester's Vehicle Operator Requirements. Must have reliable vehicle.

The employee will occasionally work with children with behavioral overreactions and must be able to handle these situations.
Travel : Travel is primarily local during the business day, but employee will be expected to work at any of our partner agencies.
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, internal equity, and location.
