Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The Behavior Technician will work with individuals, particularly children, with autism spectrum disorder to implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans and treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA
- Provide one-on-one behavioral therapy to individuals with autism
- Collect and record data on observable client behavior
- Assist in conducting functional assessments and diagnostic evaluations
- Collaborate with the BCBA to develop and modify treatment plans
- Support clients in activities of daily living and social skills development
- Write daily summary notes contemporaneously
- Maintain less than 20% monthly cancellation rate
Skills
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis
- Ability to provide patient care
- Familiarity with behavioral therapy techniques
- Understanding of special education practices
- Acceptance and application of feedback from BCBA's
- Patience and playfulness

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
