About the Role
Are you someone who thrives on creating a seamless work environment and enjoys connecting with people at all levels of an organization? We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organized Office Manager to support the smooth running of our plant operations in Warsaw, IN.
This role is based in the front office of our plant and is the hub for both internal team members and external visitors. You'll oversee office operations, assist with HR functions, and contribute to plant-wide efficiency by managing key administrative tasks.
What You’ll Do
Office Management
- Maintain a welcoming and organized front office environment, serving as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors.
- Manage office logistics, including utilities, insurance, and lease agreements.
- Oversee bulk ordering of plant supplies and materials to ensure smooth operations.
- Coordinate office supply and snack orders, ensuring employees have what they need to thrive.
- Partner with IT support to troubleshoot office technology and systems.
- Plan and assist with plant and team events that foster engagement and morale.
Human Resources Support
- Collaborate with HR to assist with recruitment efforts, including scheduling interviews and supporting onboarding processes.
- Help maintain accurate HR records and assist with compliance reporting.
- Support payroll tasks by gathering and reviewing timekeeping data from plant employees.
- Assist with employee communication initiatives and activities that enhance workplace culture.
Operational Coordination
- Work closely with plant leadership to manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure office needs align with operational priorities.
- Facilitate communication between the front office and production teams, ensuring timely information flow.
What You’ll Bring
- 2 years of experience in office administration, HR support, or a similar role in a manufacturing or plant-based environment.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn new tools and systems.
- A "no task is too small" attitude and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
