Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong and a genuine love for working with young children. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate educational activities that foster childhood development and prepare children for their next steps in education.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Provide attentive care to infants and preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and social interaction among children.
- Monitor children's progress and development, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom space conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.
- Administer first aid when necessary and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of childhood development.
Qualifications
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with infants or preschool-aged children in daycare or educational settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
- Strong caregiving skills, with the ability to nurture and educate young children effectively.
- First Aid certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A patient, caring demeanor with the ability to manage diverse classroom dynamics.
