Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in preschool and toddler care settings.
- Educate children on various subjects, including basic literacy, numeracy, and social skills through interactive activities.
- Provide caregiving support to children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and emotional support throughout the day.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively by employing positive behavior management techniques.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children's progress and address any concerns regarding their development.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with special education needs or varying learning styles.
Experience
- Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred.
- Familiarity with preschool curriculum development and classroom management strategies is essential.
- Knowledge of caregiving practices, behavior management techniques, and special education approaches is highly desirable.
- A background in early childhood education or related fields will be considered an asset.
