Infant/Toddler Provider

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide care for infants and toddlers. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping others, particularly children. This role requires a nurturing personality, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage various caregiving tasks effectively such as feeding, diaper changing, talking, reading, singing, cuddling, and playing with them.

Duties

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Support children with daily activities, including homework help and recreational activities.
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions and learning experiences.
• Ensure a safe and engaging environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding the child's progress and any concerns.
• Collaborate with other caregivers or professionals involved in the individual's care.

Skills

• Experience working with children in various capacities (e.g., babysitting, nannying, preschool).
• Strong behavior management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles is a plus.
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques for structured environments.
• Experience caring for infants or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and families.
• Ability to remain patient, empathetic, and adaptable in various caregiving scenarios.

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
