Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing occupational therapy programs designed to help patients regain independence in daily activities
- Work with patients of all ages, from children to the elderly, in various settings such as hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes
- Help patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility exercises
- Collaborate with occupational therapists to develop and modify care plans
- Document patient progress and report back to the supervising therapist
Requirements
- Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and care plans
- Experience or interest in working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics and pediatrics
- Familiarity with acute care, occupational health, home health, and rehabilitation settings
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
Work Location: In person
