Key Responsibilities:
- Clinic Operations: Oversee and manage daily operations, including staff management, scheduling, inventory control, and reputation management
- Policy and Procedure Development: Work closely with the leadership team to implement, evaluate, and improve clinic policies and procedures to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability
- Client Satisfaction: Maintain a high level of pet parent satisfaction through effective communication, conflict resolution, and consistent follow-up
- Financial Management: Manage financial aspects, including budgeting, financial reporting, and expense control as assigned by the leadership team
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with state veterinary board regulations, OSHA guidelines, and industry standards
- Talent Development: Assist in recruiting, training, and mentoring staff to build a motivated, high-performing team
- Community Engagement: Lead efforts in community outreach, networking, and marketing strategy development to grow the clinic’s presence and attract new clients
- Workplace Culture: Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and professional growth
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Leverage metrics and analytics to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and guide strategic decisions
- Certifications: CVPM (Certified Veterinary Practice Manager) preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in veterinary management or a similar role; bachelor's degree preferred
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with veterinary practice management software (Cornerstone), Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of veterinary medicine, client care standards, and animal welfare
- Marketing Expertise: Experience in digital marketing, social media management, and online advertising
- Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with a proven ability to motivate and manage teams
- Financial Acumen: Expertise in budget management, financial planning, and cost control
- Customer Service Excellence: Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations empathetically and professionally
- Flexibility: Availability to work Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays (no overnight shifts)
- Competitive Salary: Base pay of $50,000–$70,000
