What are the responsibilities and job description for the GTC Escrow Paying Specialist - GoldStar Trust Branch position at Happy State Bank?
Summary Responsible for the timeliness and accuracy of all escrow paying transactions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Perform data entry for all inbound and outbound transactions via check, ach, and wire;
- Ensure accurate information is entered in operating system regarding the administration of paying agent accounts;
- Review assigned reports to identify and resolve issues;
- Read and interpret legal contracts;
- Communicate regularly with external business entity personnel;
- Research and resolve internal and external inquiries related to paying agent services;
- Set up new accounts as received or needed; and
- Perform other work related duties, as assigned

- Must have the ability to interpret documents such as operating instructions and procedure manuals;

- Must be detail oriented, strong written and verbal skills and problem-solving abilities;

- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Internet, e-mail and a working knowledge of accounting software-strong Excel knowledge is required;
- Must have working knowledge of accounting principles to include G/L processing; and
- Must be able to pass background and credit screening process.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; and
- Six (6) months experience working in a back office financial environment is required.
