Job Description:
We are looking for a tech-savvy Dog Walker and Pet Sitter to join our team. This role involves daily dog walking, drop-in visits, occasional in-home pet sitting, and overnight stays. You will also have the opportunity to board pets at your own home if desired. You must be comfortable using our scheduling app and your phone to communicate with clients, take photos, and keep detailed notes during each visit. Strong grammar and clear communication are essential. You must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license. 100% of the job requires travel.

If you have an interest in social media management, we also offer additional compensation for assisting with our online presence by creating engaging posts and keeping our followers updated on company news, pet tips, and daily adventures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide dog walking and pet sitting services for dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, birds and other animals.
• Use the company app to check in and out of visits, send updates, and track schedules.
• Take high-quality photos and provide detailed, grammatically accurate updates to clients.
• Administer medications if required (training provided).
• Perform overnight stays in clients’ homes as needed.
• Offer pet boarding services from your own home if interested.

Requirements:

• Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Tech-friendly and willing to use a smartphone for scheduling and client communication.
• Comfortable working with animals of various sizes and temperaments.
• Strong communication skills with proper grammar and punctuation.
• Flexibility to work Monday through Friday and some weekends. Hours vary but are mostly flexible.
• Must be responsible and able to keep clients' keys safe at all times.
• Ability to commit long-term due to the extensive training process.
• Background check required.
• Previous pet care experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Compensation:

• Approximately $20-$25 per hour, paid per job completed.
