On-Call Caregiver – Pocatello
We are looking for a compassionate and dependable individual to join our team as an On-Call Caregiver in Pocatello. This role provides essential in-home support to clients, offering a flexible schedule while making a meaningful impact in their lives. Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care based on each client’s needs, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, creating a positive and engaging environment.
- Monitor and report any changes in client health or behavior to the appropriate supervisor.
- Assist with light housekeeping, errands, and transportation to appointments or social activities.
- Be prepared to travel to surrounding areas, including Hamer, Atomic City, or Idaho Falls, in the event of a call-out.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of care provided.
Requirements:
- Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable, with a strong desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and client needs.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Additional Information:
- Guaranteed 20 hours per week.
- One week of training, followed by a one-week trial period.
- This is an on-call position with flexible hours. Caregivers must be available during designated times as needed.
- Travel to clients' homes throughout Pocatello and surrounding areas is required.
- Training and ongoing support provided to ensure success in the role.
